I lost count the number of times I found myself in Puerto Rico.  The port was Roosevelt Roads on the southeast end of  the island.  San Juan, the mountainous rain forest region, several beaches and a great Italian restaurant were among the places that were frequented and explored. Pictured here, we are on a small beach on the military base. The island in the background is about 1/2 mile out from the shore and is surrounded by a beautiful coral reef that served as my introduction to snorkeling.
