In the spring of 1995, we had completed the decommissioning of the USS Pargo. Some of us were headed off to another duty assignments while some of us had completed their service obligation and were returning to their civilian lives. 

Pictured here, with Devil's Tower National Monument in Wyoming in the background,  Rob Ruppert and myself  (on the ends) were headed back to Groton, Ct to our next Submarines, while Jim Kamm and Ed Crowder were heading off to start a new life.
